Recently, the Harris County Republican Party Executive Committee held a Straw Poll to determine the level of activist support each candidate was receiving. The voters could only cast a bollot for an election they would be able to vote in on the Primary Ballot. The following are the results for CD 29:
Eric Story - 80%
Frank Mazzapica - 20%
George Young - 0%
Tom Stevens - 0%
Roy Morales - 0%
It is with great joy that we announce the endorsement of Eric Story by the National Chair for Veterans Affairs in the Republican National Hispanic Assembly. Reggie Gonzales has stated his full faith in the candidate and the campaign as he volunteers to work throughout the District on Story's behalf.
This should bring an end to the questions being fired by one of his opponents concerning the support from both Hispanics and Veterans. Sgt. Major Gonzales (former Marine) has supported Eric for several years and believes this is the year Story will send Gene Green into retirement.
In the race for the Republican nomination for Congressional District 29, there is one clear choice, Eric Story.
He is the only candidate that has been fighting for the people of CD 29 for 5 years.
He is the only candidate that actually lives in CD 29.
He is the only candidate that has been working with members of Congress to cut off the root of terrorism run by the current regime in Iran.
Eric is the only candidate in this race with a proven record of Conservatism.
Eric is the candidate that has said an absolute NO to foreign troops on US soil.
This morning I received the confirmation of endorsement from Gary Polland and the Texas Conservative Review. This is a much sought after endorsement from a leading conservative in Harris County.
Let’s send a strong message to DC “Get your hands off of Texas.
The 2010 Super Bowl is now history, but within the political stadium the “Conference Championships” are fast approaching. These will be played out over a period of two weeks, beginning February 16th, with the start of Early Voting. On Tuesday, March 2, the conference champions from the “Republican and Democrat Conferences” will be determined. Then the participants for the “Super Bowl of US Politics” will be set for November.
There is a very big difference between the NFL Super Bowl and the fight for the freedoms of our nation to be played out in the political arena. The Saints and Colts worked hard for their chance to play a game that provides bragging rights, fame, and fortune. Fans align behind a team based on a number of reasons, such as, uniform design, the most handsome quarterback, underdog status, sportscasters’ favorites, or a deep love for their hometown team. But, we must remember football is a sport, and the Super Bowl is just a game.
It’s not a game within the political realm. To choose the right nominees for the November ballot is critical to the future and survival of our nation. Within Congressional District 29, Congressman Gene Green has turned against his own base. Now is the time to select the Republican nominee for CD 29 who will be in position to replace liberal Green in the November general election.
Eric Story is a lifelong Republican who has worked tirelessly over many years on behalf of the Conservative Cause. I am pleased to endorse Eric for Congress. He will fight to put our Congress and our country back on the RIGHT track.

Sanctity of Human Life - Sunday January 24, 2010
Today we are remembering the 50 million innocent lives that have been terminated for the sake of comfort and convenience. The legalization of abortion, a decision made by a very liberal Supreme Court that viewed itself as God, has brought to our nation a holocaust 11 times larger than the murders perpetrated by Hitler during his reign of terror. Many of these innocent babies actually faced a more horrific death than most of the Jewish victims under Hitler.
Two weeks ago, Haiti was devastated by a 7.0 earthquake. As we should have, America and many other nations responded immediately in order to save lives. As a result, many lives have been saved. Thousands of severely wounded have been treated and will return to normalcy in the near future. Great organizations such as Feed the Children and Convoy of Hope have responded to meet the physical needs such as food and care for orphaned children. These are steps a great people take when called upon.
Mr. Story, this is one of the most intelligent recent discussions I've read. The abortion issue is overwhelmingly evil insanity. I have no idea how God has so mercifully withheld massive judgment on this nation.Houston is certainly standing on shaky ground, with a 78,000 square-foot building dedicated to murdering innocent babies. Repent and stop this now, Americans!
